Terms and Conditions for Flutterby Bridal Hair

 

Payment

I make a tailored and personalised quote for each individual Bridal Party based on the information you provide to me.  When circumstances change this can affect the quote.  I will make you aware of any changes as they occur.

To confirm your booking with Flutterby Bridal Hair for your Big Day a non refundable deposit of £50 is required to book the wedding date itself.  This is redeemable against the payment for the hair on the day, not redeemable against any trials.  If you choose to cancel your booking this is a non refundale deposit unless at my discretion

For your trials I ask of you to pay for your trials and any travel fee that may apply to them at the time of the trial appointment

I accept cash and cheque at present.  **CHEQUES TO BE RECIEVED BY MYSELF 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE DATE OF WEDDING/BOOKING**

On The Day

I ask that all hair is ready for me when I arrive, ie washed and dried (the evening before or on that morning, whatever suits you and your hair type best)  Of course people having blow-dries or certain types of sets will need to wash their hair while I am there, however I am not responsible for washing it.

Every second counts, so I ask to have at least one person ready to get their hair done at discussed start time.

Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately this happens from time to time, change in circumstance etc.  If it is within the 4 months of the wedding date this is what I ask- (your £50 non refundable deposit is removed from the remaining payment before the % is calculated)

  • 4 months to go and under - 20% of payment of highest quote* given for Big Day
  • 3 months to go and under - 40% of payment of highest quote* given for Big Day
  • 2 months to go and under - 60% of payment of highest quote* given for Big Day
  • 1 month to go and under - 80%of payment of highest quote* given for Big Day

To understand, as the time gets shorter it is less likely I get another booking for that date.  Obviously if you booked in a shorter time scale we would compromise with a cancellation fee.  This is at my discretion.

*The reason it is worked out from the Highest quote is I have been advised that some people start to reduce the people in their booking prior to cancelling to reduce their cancellation fee.

Travel/Weather Conditions

I will always endeavour to reach you at your location.  However sometimes things happen which can stop me reaching you - severe weather, road incidents, road closures etc.  In these extreme cases there will be no charge for the services that were not carried out and your deposit will be refunded in these cases.
